Position overview

We are looking for engaging, reliable and confident facilitators to deliver hands-on STEM and robotics programs for primary and secondary school students through our RoboDays and technology immersion experiences.

Our programs introduce young people to robotics, automation, engineering, coding and future technology pathways through highly interactive activities using LEGO SPIKE Prime and other educational technologies.

Facilitators deliver structured sessions using lesson plans, equipment and program resources supplied by More Butter. The role focuses on student engagement, clear facilitation and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on education sessions for primary school students

  • Facilitate activities using lesson plans and resources supplied by More Butter

  • Explain concepts clearly and support students through practical tasks

  • Create a welcoming, inclusive and positive learning environment

  • Adapt your communication style for different ages and learning needs

  • Encourage participation, curiosity and collaborative problem-solving

  • Assist with session setup, pack-down and equipment management

  • Represent More Butter professionally when working with schools, students, educators and partners

  • Support the delivery of different education programs as required

About you

You will:

  • Be confident and comfortable working with children

  • Be an engaging and approachable communicator

  • Be organised, reliable and able to follow a structured session plan

  • Be comfortable presenting and facilitating activities in front of groups

  • Be able to respond calmly and positively in dynamic classroom environments

  • Be willing to learn new program content and delivery methods

  • Be able to work independently onsite while collaborating with the wider team

  • Have an interest in education, youth engagement or community programs

Experience in teaching, education support, tutoring, youth work, camps, coaching, facilitation or children’s programs will be highly regarded, but formal teaching qualifications are not essential.

Experience in STEM, coding, robotics or technology is welcome but not required. Full training will be provided.
